Daily Uplift is built to be a calm, private space. We keep it that way on purpose.

No accounts. You never have to sign up or sign in. There is nothing to remember and nothing to lose.

No personal data collected. We do not ask for your name, email, or anything that identifies you. The feelings you tap are used only to show you a message in the moment. They are not stored on a server tied to you.

Sharing is your choice. When you choose to share a message, your device's own share tools handle it. We never post anything on your behalf.

Anonymous, aggregate counting. To understand which pages and features help the most, our own server keeps simple daily totals: things like "the sad page was viewed 40 times today" or "someone arrived from Google". These counts use no cookies, no advertising trackers, and are never tied to you. Whether you've visited before is remembered only by your own browser, which sends back a plain yes or no. And to count visitors rather than visits, the server briefly keeps a scrambled code that is built fresh each day, cannot identify you or follow you anywhere, and is deleted within a day or two.

Cookies and advertising. To help keep Daily Uplift free, some pages show a small number of ads from Google AdSense, and a few articles include affiliate links. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies (such as the DoubleClick DART cookie) to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure them. It is never to personally identify you. Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA or UK), you will be asked for your consent before any advertising cookies are used. You can opt out of personalised advertising any time in Google's Ads Settings or through the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out. Children's privacy. Daily Uplift is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone under that age. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what data we hold about you, to request its deletion, or to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Because we hold almost no personal data to begin with, most requests will resolve quickly. Reach us at [email protected] and we will respond as promptly as we can.
