I feel stuck
You feel planted in place, like the days are moving but you aren't, and that kind of stillness can feel like quicksand. Being stuck doesn't mean you've stopped trying; often it means you've been trying so hard you've worn a groove. Stuck is a place, not a personality, and places are something you eventually move through. You don't have to leap out of it today. Even noticing that you want to move is already a kind of motion.
Feeling stuck is one of the most frustrating experiences there is, the sense that the world is moving while you are not, that you are going through the motions without getting anywhere. It is a deeply common feeling, and it is not a sign that you are failing. Often, being stuck is not the result of not trying. It is the result of trying so much, in the same direction, that you have worn a groove you cannot easily step out of.
You do not have to leap out of being stuck all at once. Sometimes the way out is a pause, sometimes a new direction, sometimes a small step. You do not have to see the whole way out today. You only have to be willing to move, gently, toward something that feels like you. That willingness is already you unsticking. A season passes not by being forced, but by being lived through, one small movement at a time.
Read one, sit with it, and draw as many more as you need.

I feel stuck
“Stuck is a place you are standing, your feet planted in the same square of floor you've been staring at. Not a sentence you were handed. Standing still has never meant staying forever.”
