No one really knows me

You can be surrounded by people and still feel like the real you is standing alone in a corner. Wanting to be truly known is not too much to ask; it's one of the deepest needs there is. That no one has met all of you yet doesn't mean you're unknowable; it means the right closeness hasn't found you yet. You are worth knowing, fully, and that stays true even in the quiet.

There is a particular loneliness that can exist even in a full room, the sense that people see the outer version of you but never the person underneath all of it. This is deeply common. Many of us move through the world with parts of ourselves kept carefully out of sight, and it can feel like no one has ever really met the whole of us. That does not make you difficult to know. It makes you a person with a rich inner life, and that richness is worth something.

Being fully known takes time and trust, and it rarely happens all at once. It is not evidence that you are somehow too much or not enough. It simply means the right people and the right kind of closeness have not found you yet. You are not an unsolved problem. You are a person waiting to be properly seen, and that day will come. Until then, know that you are worth knowing, completely, and that your inner life matters, even if no one has walked all the way into it yet.

Read one, sit with it, and draw as many more as you need.

Lonely

No one really knows me

Feeling like no one truly knows you is its own specific loneliness, surrounded by people yet unmet, a full dinner table where everyone knows your order but no one knows your fear. The ache is real, and it doesn't mean you're unknowable.
